Greetings from your Tour Director at Budapest airport. Check into your hotel and, in the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner combined with entertainment in one of the many local restaurants in Budapest.
Day 2 - Budapest
Budapest is a graceful capital along the banks of the majestic Danube – with soaring architecture, culinary delights, and a vibrant cultural scene. Comprehensive touring showcases the city’s charms. Walk along the Fishermen’s Bastion for stupendous views of the Parliament Building, and visit St. Stephen’s Cathedral, the largest churchin Budapest. Then see Heroes Square, the Danube Embankment and the impressive Chain Bridge. The afternoon is free to explore the surprising sights and unexpected delights of Budapest on your own.
Day 3 - Budapest
A whole day on your own in this exciting city. You can explore on your own or go shopping and check out the stylish boutiques of Vaci Utca, the Antique District and the stores of the West End. Take a shopping break with coffee and cake at the elegant New York Café or take an optional guided tour to the artist village of St. Andrea hich attracts people with its many art shops and galleries as well as small coffee houses on the bank of the Danube River. Maybe it is time to explore Danube bend by boat to see Visegrad, once the capital of Hungarian kingdom or take the tour of Hungarian Puszta. The choices and attractions are numerous
Day 4 -From Budapest to Vienna
Journey through the region of Transdanubia, dotted with orchards and vineyards, to the town Györ founded by the Romans. It has retained much of its medieval and baroque charm. Then it’s a short drive to Imperial Vienna for our fabulous three-night stay. Then, why not enjoy a drive to see the city illuminated tonight?

Day 5 - Vienna
We enjoy a sightseeing tour with a local guide who takes us for a drive along the Imperial Boulevards to the mighty Hofburg with time to stop for pictures. We also see the Parliament, the world-famous Opera House, Stadtpark, Monument to the Soviet Soldier and the impressive baroque church of St Charles Borromeo. A stroll along the Kartnerstrasse with its glamorous boutiques brings us to St Stephen’s Cathedral, which we will visit (when open). Later we visit Empress Maria Theresa’s favorite palace at Schönbrunn, former summer residence of the Imperial family and considered one of the most beautiful baroque palaces in Europe.
Day 6 - Vienna
A whole day to relax in this imperial city or to take an optional scenic drive into the nearby Vienna Woods where we stop to see Mayerling, and the hunting lodge where Crown Prince udolph and his young mistress died in 1898.We also stop at Heiligenkreuz to visit the Abbey of the Holy Cross. Then there’s time at leisure, perhaps to window-shop in Kärtnerstrasse or visit a museum.
Day 7 - From Vienna to Prague
The journey will continue across the Czech border to Southern Moravia and the Natural Park of numerous lakes and hills. Then the way continues via Brno, one time Napoleonic headquarters to the astonishing Czech capital, Prague.

Day 8 - Prague
Spanning the River Valtava, Prague is one of the most beautifully preserved cities in Europe. The sightseeing tour will show the Hradcany Castle, striking Charles Bridge and Wenceslas Square, Old Town Square, the famous Astronomical Clock, the Jewish Quarter and St. Nicholas Church. In the afternoon, there are possibilities to enjoy an optional river cruise.
Day 9 - Prague
A day to relax; explore the golden city on your own or to partake in an optional excursion for a visit to Konopiste castle and to a well known spa resort of Karlovy Vary.
Day 10 - Prague
Your program with us finishes after breakfast and transfer to the airport for your homebound flight.
